On replacing my S3 Virge and voodoo 1 with voodoo 3 , several of my games
don't seem to work.
I'm not an expert on these things,
but it appears that my glide based games are OK ( GPL and Monaco GP) , but
any Direct X games (TOCA2, Colin McRae Rally), the screen goes black and the
PC locks up.
Anybody had the same problem - and can help!

As many users had similar trouble with certain V2 drivers I'd guess that
it's a driver/monitor refresh rate problem (I had a similar problem recently
with a TNT card and a particular driver release). Try setting the adapter
refresh rate to 'adapter default' rather than 'optimal' (I know you won't
want to run like this but it will at least identify the problem. If these
titles now work OK bingo! (Unfortunately, I don't know of another cure other
than an updated driver - sorry).
