Two ***s (questions that is <g>).
1. What is web address that I can go to in order to get Alison Brabham's
setups?
2. (potentially dumber one!!) Once I've downloaded the setups, where do
I install them i.e under which directory within GPL do I send them, and
how do I access them once they have been transferred to the GPL
directory? I have downloaded some setups from another site, but do not
know where to install them to.:(
Help......anyone..........pretty please....:)

They go in the setup folders for each track that are located under the
players folder with your name/setups. Alison has more detailed
information at the page sited above.

If you dload Allison's setups, and you use Winzip...this is all you need
to do:
double clik on the zip file....select extract...make sure the button for
'all files'
is cliked and make sure the box for 'use folder names' is checked.
then extract it to Sierra\gpl\player\your name.
Winzip will then put the individual setups in the correct sub-folder.
Thank Allison for doing even that little bit extra too!

(ps..I tried the Brabahm at Spa and Mosport..even with empty tanks
the car "feels' slow but I did manage to actually save a spin in progress
which is something I've had quite a bit of trouble with...so as always..

Go here http://www.simracing.com/~alison/gpl/ [address restored]
Put them in the folder C:\SIERRA\gpl\players\YOUR__NAME\setups\TRACK
where YOUR__NAME is your name and TRACK is whatever track the setup is for.

Then go to "downloads", then "setups".
This information is on that site. But to summarize, a setup file goes in
the following directory <gplpath>/players/<your name>/setups/<trackname>,
where <gplpath> is the directory where gpl is installed, <your name> is the
player name you have chosen for yourself in the game, and <trackname> is the
name of the track. For example, a setup for Monza on my machine would be in
c:\games\Sierra\gpl\players\David_Ewing\setups\monza.
Note: Alison's setups come zipped with the path information
("setups\<trackname>") intact, so you just need to unzip the archive to
<your name>.
To access them, go to the car setup dialog in the game and choose the setup
from the drop down list.
