The wheel's software is configured right. It works fine in Nascar99.
I can choose the generic driver and configure it in the options screen
in GPL without problem, but when I actually go to the race itself, I
find that the wheel is backwards (turn left, wheels turn right
etc...). Has anyone else encountered a similar problem? If so, how
did you solve it? Are there any tweaking utilities out there? When I
tried a generic joystick I found that it would configure properly and
run perfectly, so it must be a Thrustmaster problem, right?
Many thanks
Calibrate your wheel within GPL again. Make sure you turn the wheel
left first, then right. That should do it.

I'm gonna add to my last post....when assigning the steering control
turn the wheel left, not right. The steering indicator should say <>
not ><. Now THAT should do it.

use Direct Input, not Generic, with very good results. The only drawback is
that gpl was not included in the list of supported games on the Thrustmaster
cd, so I have to recalibrate for every GPL session.....Once a night I don't
mind, it's good to be sure that the calibration is fresh, but sometimes I
have to do it for every race online, which is a real time sucker.....I need
to contact Thrustmaster to see if they have a solution. If I find one, I'll
post it...See Ya, Ed

You need to upgrade the software drivers for the Super Sport. You can
find them at Thrustmaster's Support pages at http://www.thrustmaster.com
Then you shouldn't have to re-calibrate each time you run a program.
