Need help with SCGT fullgrid patch

I'm doing something wrong here, I'm sure - When I go race, I get a message at the top of the screen that says 'error1 while loading vehicle information'. I've re-installed and re-edit the 'yourname.txt' file several times trying different things but have not got it to work yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Bob

Well bob if all else fails you can always do it quick and easy just by unzipping the whole thing into your save folder and then choosing the driver that goes by the name "Your Name" (He's Canadian I think) anyway thats if all else fails. What I did was I opened the text file and did a search for all the your name strings in the txt and changed them too. then I saved it as MY name.txt. I then got to choose my driver but he was still called your name till I put in the full grid hack. Now I am me all the time again.

Yeah, I agree with Xtent. I just unzipped the Your name stuff with Winzip and it created a driver called your name. I did NOT make any changes and now race as Mr. Name. (eh) dave henrie Oh yeah, Xtent, I sent you a VERY long email about my controller problems but msn is having trouble delivering it.
