Will the above mentioned game run well in Win98 and does it support 3DFX cards using glide or D3D? Thank you, John E. Crouse

John, Nascar Racing 1999 runs well under Win98 using 3DFX glide (though like GPL it prefers v2.53). It DOES NOT support D3D. There is still a DOS executable that runs in either 3DFX or Rendition, and if you are interested in multiplayer, it is only supported from the DOS executable. Hope that answers your question. Curently they expierencing some sound problems while running in Win 98. I run it in DOS and have a great frame rate and sound. If u r going to run it in Win98 u will need to get the patch that allows u to utilize the 3Dfx mode Jeff
