I have a Pentium 200MMX with 32MB and a new ATI All-in-Wonder Pro do-it all
card. Okay, so it's not the fastest car around, but things really start
moving in Direct 3D mode. Here's my problem -
When I load Sportcar GT, I click on Direct 3D mode and click Start Game. I
have already set the details and res. for this card, which is 640x480 and
high detail. Looks pretty good and the frame rate is good, I'd say around
15-17fps in D3D mode. Okay I start a race, everything is fine. But then when
the race is over and your results pop up, well that's the problem they never
do pop up cause the game crashes ans returns back to Windows. I talked to
ATI and they seem to think that I need to upgrade to 64MB to keep it from
crashing on me in D3D mode. I have the lastest drivers from ATI and Direct X
6.1, so I know those aren't it. It runs fine in Software mode, just slower.
Any ideas I can get it not to crash without upgrading to 64MB just yet?
Thanks..
PS if you want to race me, my ICQ number is 5318988...
