I just installed a SoundBlaster Live Value soundcard to replace my
SoundBlaster 16 since it just didn't cut it in gpl. I couldn't believe
the difference in the engines sounds,and couldn't wait to run my Nascar2
race tonight to hear how the stockers sounded.
When I tried to load nascar2 from a DOS prompt,I just got a Blank
screen. I booted my computer and tried it again,same results. I then
tried ICR2,but it wouldn't load either.
I checked the sound setup from the setup program and it showed a my
soundblaster 16 stereo card still,but when I tested the sound,I heard
the spotter.
I then tried to reinstall nascar2,but it wouldn't load. I tested the
sound,and it would hang up on the speach,but the music worked.
I'm also having trouble with the window application sounds***
up. I've turned them off until I can can find a solution to this
problem.
I don't know if a CD will play since I don't have any CDs,(I have a
cassette deck).
