Hello! Stupid question... Does anyone know if dynamic lighting will be supported in SCGT? In other words, since there will be some races that will go from day to night, will we see the transition? Or will it be like NASCAR 2's night races...where it starts at night and ends that way. Thank you.

From my understanding, since you can do enduro races that last 12 hours, you can see the transition from day to night. I'm pretty sure I read something regarding this, but not sure where. In any case, we are probably going to be able to see that next tuesdays. Philster

The only problem that I see so far is that saving a race won't be implemented in the original game. A patch will be coming out shortly after the release with changes like better multiplayer and saving race and all that. I guess they want to rush it out and then fix it all up after the release. This patch sounds like something they are already working on though. Jesse

This is having to do with the 12 hour races (the previous post) which I doubt you will ever get to the time it will get dark if you can't save. But of course you can always just waste a weekend and run it. The race can really just be 3 or 4 hours (I think) since you can send out an AI driver like in real life. Jesse

While pitting, a menu selection comes up, with different things you can change (ex. change or not change tires, how much fuel, etc..) one of the selections is either human or AI. So, while pitting you can tell the ai to drive the next run until he has to pit. Then, while he pits you have the menu again, which allows you to either put it back on human if you want to drive or leave it alone to let the ai drive again. Sorry you won't see transition from day to night or from dry to wet. If you start a race during the day you will end with the day, same goes with rain.
