Cable modem just installed
how come in multiplayer ther is no ip node available either for host or
join.
only sporster modem and serial port

Hi Andre,
Make a file called core.ini in your GPL folder (where the GPL.EXE file is).
Place the following commands in the file:
[communications]
alternate_ip_addr_lookup=1
You can check out my core.ini from my web page (I have a cable modem) --
