DirectX 6 Uninstaller? Help

Everytime I install DirectX 6 it messes up the sound in GPL. It sounds all muffled. I can't drive with this terrible sound. I can't seem to copy an older version of DX over it either. The only way I can fix it is if I re-format my hard drive and re-install everything. I don't want to go through this process again. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I heard there was a DirectX uninstaller. Is this true? Thanks, Mike

I can't help you on the uninstaller, but have you made sure you have the latest sound drivers for your soundcard? Don Burnette Dburn on Ten
