I thought the online vs. offline thing was supposed to be fixed with version 2.1? When I use the included cars in single player they still sink into the pavement.

THe default cup cars have the same symptom, but to a much lesser degree, so the 'problem' doesn't show itself. It would take another serious patch from Papyrus to cure this from what I have read. I beleive you can sorta fix it for OFFline, by changing your car type for offline, but if you use the same car ONline, you'll get the 4x4 effect. So I think the pits and probably pwf also, have chosen the lesser of two evils and gone for the too low look rather than the too high 4x4. dave henrie

Are you talking about the player car or the AI ? The player car will be sunk into the ground as Herr von Henrie explained, that bit is out of our hands Beers and cheers (uncle) Goy "goyl at nettx dot no" http://www.theuspits.com "A man is only as old as the woman he feels........" --Groucho Marx--

I agree, I just wish I could say I contributed more than critical comments and Monty Python quotes Beers and cheers (uncle) Goy "goyl at nettx dot no" http://www.theuspits.com "A man is only as old as the woman he feels........" --Groucho Marx--
Yup, player car. Would be nice if Papy would address this. "Goy Larsen" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Yeah, but as someone pointed out to me, it's more than just Papy, now I can well imagine some Papy employee getting PO'ed at this while racing his fav road racing mod and decides to try to do something about it, like the OGL patch we got for GPL Ok, so he does this, what's next, well, it has to be released through a patch, which means recompiling the .exe, which means that Sierra's Q&A department would like to have a look at it first to make sure it doesn't break anything, after that they have to update the Sierra matching servers..... Oh yeah, I can see this happening......:-/ Beers and cheers (uncle) Goy "goyl at nettx dot no" http://www.theuspits.com "A man is only as old as the woman he feels........" --Groucho Marx--
