Can I run GPL with this machine

Can I run GPL with this machine, and will it be driveable? 200mmx 64 megs of ram Matrox Millennium II 4mb (pci) Creative Sound Blaster 32 Thanks, Mike P.S. A new PC is out of the question, but a new 3-D card, is in the near future. Leaning toward STB 12mb BLACKMAGIC 3D or , STB VELOCITY 4400, any suggestions?

You'd have to play in software mode, and run in low detail, and you can forget about racing any AI cars (no more than a few anyway), but yeah, it'd be drivable with that :-) Brian Short

I prefer the Diamond Viper 550 16MB card, but I do not know how it would work with GPL, if anything CAN work with GPL???????? GPL = Gotta Play Lousy

Yup, it will work..... but don't expect any startling frame rates, my spec is exactly the same Plus I have a Diamond Monster-II 3DFX. I get about 25fps on average..... it will depend on how many cars are in view, the amount of graphics detail etc. I plan to up-grade soon.... 100mhz FSB bus motherboard and Celeron 350mhz proc. I have same machine, I put a thriller 8 meg in and I can decent frame rates.I had a 3dfx and the thriller (rendition) is alot better. -- Kevin Anderson ICQ # 6769389

hey I run the same config with 32 megs and its ok to run online with it in 3dfx, but u hve to have most of the candy turned off, which doenst really phase me
