Last saturday me and Marc Mercer (and a few others) had a pro GPL race
at Nrburgring. For the first two and a half lap (of three laps) me and
Marc raced nose to tail. It was interesting as I in front was racing the
Honda which is fast in a straight line making passing difficult, while
Marc was racing a Cooper which was better through the turns.
We were racing on the absolute limit which showed by the laptimes, we
both had a best lap of 8:24 (personal best in a race for me was 8:30,
8:20 for Marc). Marc tried absolutely everything to get by me, and he
got up on my side three times, but never managed to complete the pass.
I think this screenshot sums up everything
[link lost in import]
which shows me and Marc racing side by side through the very narrow
Kallenhard (and remember Marc on the outside is the one trying to pass!)
The rest of the screenshots and a replay can be found at:

hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Wow! A great battle. Incredible talent!
But, Arne...I don't think you should have forced Marc to conceive!
(Take a look. Sorry. Couldn't help it.)
Great pictures as well. Thanks for sharing it :-)
Craig.
Good spot :)

without retiring? Especially racing so close to each other.
I'm impressed:-)

A little misunderstanding here, a Grand Prix is 15 laps, a pro race is 3
or 5 laps (we did 3). Still pro races are without shift r, and we both
finished the three laps :-)

Still good though - one mistake at the Ring and you're out!
