Dashboard in NFS2SE???

hi i know that i have seen posts ergarding this b4, can someone please help me? i have need for speed 2 se, witha creative labs voodoo 2 card.-12 mb. i have copied nfsea.exe from the cd to my hard drive, inorder to play the 3dfx version. i get the 3dfx splash screen, os it must be working, but n omatter how i set the video options, i cannot get car dashboards. thank you , chris

I'm not sure why the hell they did this, but they didnt include dashboards in the 3Dfx version. You only get the dashboards when using software rendering. Kinda goofy, but that's the way it is. I also found it odd that I (and apparently you) could only get to play the 3dfx version by copying the nfsea.exe over to disk when the installation instructions explicitly say that you decide that at setup.
