I was really surprised when last night me and a bud finally figured out how
to get the Powerslide demo to work over IP with my full version. We can
only run the Dam track (original name, huh?) and I can only choose one of 2
cars, but it was still a blast! Since he only has one phone line (poor,
deprived guy) now that we're both on ICQ we can set everything up and still
hook up! This is great! Now we're gonna get Jane's Fighter's Anthology to
work... Then Descent III (demo works great)... Too bad he doesn't have
Nas50th [I'm not givin' up my Nas50th to ANYBODY for a while]. Gotta dig
through each of our games. The problem in the past was he didn't have ICQ.
Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know Powerslide's demo works with the
full version. Wonder how many other games work that way?
