Colin McRae keeps giving me a failure message when I run rally.exe. I can't
get the game to load. The demos (game.exe) works fine, though. I have
DirectX 6.1 and all the latest drivers for my 12 mb Voodoo2 card.
My computer is a Cyrix 6x86 p166+ with 48 mb of ram and Windows 95.
(I know my processor is weak, but I think I atleast could get to the menus
of the game... ;-) )
Any hints ? Please help me getting the game to work ! I've tried every kind
of installation, and most things I could think of.
PS: I've downloaded the patch. :DS
You need to change the waterpump back to stock and remove all the engine
mods that rely on that pump being able to shunt more heat away from the
engine.
Oh, sorry I thought you meant... oh never mind.

Try uninstalling the demo, and re-installing the game.
Also, the latest Voodoo2 drivers have been causing problems with some games.
Try loading the drivers that came with you card, even though they might be
DirectX 5.0 drivers, load them any way.
On another note, (no flame intended) you have got to be the only person
witha Cyrix p166+ and a Voodoo2 card.

Damn bug ridden game..... Im not bitter....It's a same they rushed this game
through
You would never see Geoff Crammond do this with GP3....
August 1999....wahhoooo But I would be happy with 2000, if it had to be
due to any bugs !!!!!!
