Is there a patch/cheat in Colin McRae Rally that will activate ALL the
stages in each round while in NOVICE mode instead of just the first
three stages per round?
I DO HAVE the MIZ_CMR 2.1 patch installed and it appears to be working
fine. When I run this hack program, I select
ALL CARS IN ALL MODES,
I am really enjoying CM Rally! There is nothing like dancing your car
sideways through a sharp bend while travelling at 100 miles per hour
with the only thing preventing you from falling off the shear cliff drop
off to your right is your driving skill!
I have some questions regarding setups however.
Can someone give me an example of a stage where you should use
the SOFT
SUSPENSION setting?
If I am doing a time-trial of a single stage (since it's only
the one
stage then I wouldn't care about damage really) should I not set the
SUSPENSION to the STIFFEST level, or can this be counter-productive?
When should I set the BRAKE BIAS to full forward? I understand &
use of REAR BIAS and I use it alot to control the back-end of the car,
but if I select FRONT BIAS, how will it aid me?
Is there any way that I can alter the specifications of the bonus cars
so they become more realistic? I would like to be able to change the
horsepower settings on the AUDI QUATTRO for example, de-tuning it from
its 540hp to something more manageble and realistic (maybe down to about
300hp or so??).
I won at the highest level, only changing tyres and ratio (here and there!).
I never bothered about the other settings: I always used the default
settings. Try working with the tyres and ratio, and then only change the
other (default) settings, when you really can't get to the top.

Type these in as your name for cheat codes.
Freeway.........unlock all stages
Darkside.........drive all at night
Whiteout..........drive in fog
Specialed........replay transition mode
Rocketman........turbo boost
Bigguns...........double power
Choirboy..........give Nicky a squeaky voice
To disable the cheat, type it as the name again.
If the track is bumpy, has jumps and or is ruff then use the soft
suspension. I am not sure how different soft and stiff really are and how
much they effects the car in the game yet.
