I just got Viper Racing, and like the game itself, but for some reason the
framerates I get are only about 14-16. The smoke is grey squares. I can't
figure it out. Is there some special command to enter into the exe file or
what?
System:
PII 350mhz
Canopus Pure 3D VooDoo2
Sierra Screamin3D Rendition
SoundBlaster 16
224MB RAM

Sounds to me like the EXE is going to the Rend card...
By default it should go to the 3dfx card..........

The read me might have something
Do other games using the 3dfx card work ok??

I'm not sure if this is the problem your having, but I had similar symtoms and
switched to the 3dfx reference drivers, it solved all of my problems.
