Hi everyone,
This is, of course, an unofficial beta patch. It has not been approved,
sanctioned, or blessed by Sierra On-Line. This preliminary patch has been
released to address significant issues with internet play.
The official patch is getting "the treatment" at Sierra, and will be
released "real soon now". I would recommend waiting for the official patch.

Good, but what does the patch do? Paul

I believe it is supposed to improve multiplayer racing.
This will be the exact same patch that is officially released. Most
companies do this just to make sure but the word I have is that this patch
is golden :)
