Hoping for a little help here. NASCAR 99 keeps locking up on me. It
generally happens late in a race. The screen will freeze, and the spotter
will continue to say something over and over, like a skipping record.
Nothing short of RESET will unlock the machine. I have reloaded the program
and tried it with both the Windows drivers and DOS. The only difference is
that when I choose the Windows option, I also occasionally get booted out of
the game and back to the desktop. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks in
advance.
My system:
AMD K6 350
128 MB RAM
SB 16 (I'm using this gameport) for my Thrustmaster NASCAR Pro
Diamond SpeedStar A50 with 8 MB RAM video card
Lots of hard drive space
WIN 98
