This is probably old news, but Firingsquad has a preview at www.firingsquad.com/games/nascar3/ and the article quotes a release date of April 2, 1999. Yeah, I know, don't get your panties in a bunch. The preview is pretty sparse, and I wouldn't be surprised if this one doesn't surface until Christmas at the earliest (ain't I the optimist). Kinda chokes me, cause I'm really looking forward it. Hi Stefano... Do you have GPL? N2? I ask because N99 is just an update of N2. Whereas N3 will be based on the GPL physics model, which IS THE BEST AVAILABLE. The cars will handle differently, but to get the best Nascar game with the best physics engine, then wait for N3. N99 isn't drastically better than N2. -Dave

I'd rather wait until Christmas and get a good game than have Sierra rush an incomplete sim to the market, especially if N2000 is going to be as spectacular as has been claimed. Probably won't have enough money to get a computer that could run it until then anyway. Amazing, the only times I ever buy a new computer, it always coincides with the release of the new NASCAR game.... worth it though! :) Craig
