First with L4 installed, my ethernet card and my SB16 emulation use the same irq #5. If i remove the L4 card, everything work fine( now i could browse ). Also with the L4, i experienced no jerk at all, but i could calibrate only wheel ( right-left ) and throttle and not brake. WHY ???? actually, i use again my SB Live ! gameport waiting a solution for the L4 gamecard. Guy
I had a similar problem when I installed a PDPI card. I noticed a mention of registry hacking on Alison Hines' site, so did a search for PDPI in the registry editor and altered the values in the "default" key to values similar to those I found in adjacent preset values in the same branch. Worked a treat. Of course I BACKED UP the registry first!

Speaking of the PDPI, does anybody know of a site with a reasonably good FAQ or explanation on how to use the utilities that come with this thing? The "VStick" in particular. I've got it workin' I guess, but I'm just kinda shootin' in the dark. Dunno if I'm actually usin' this thing to it's full potential. S.C.
