how can I access views other than the in car and chase views? For example,
I hear something about a rollbar view when racing . . .
Open the player.ini file in your sierra/gpl/player/"your name" folder. Scroll
down to the [personal information] stanza and you'll find a line that says
drivingView = 1. Change the 1 to 12 for the rollbar view, which if you need
it, will help your framerate as the mirrors are inactive in that view. Hitting
F10 while driving will reset it to the default view. I don't know what other
numbers correspond to, as I haven't tried them. Anyone have a list? It would
be nice to have access to some other views for replays. The upcoming patch,
perhaps?

Only chase view is available when racing - by pressing F10... other views are
available by pressing F2. This will put you in REPLAY mode. Pressing V will
cycle thru all the available views...
Phew! That was my first sensible post in ages!

Oops!... <V> changes Vehicles. <V> moves you to the next car physically up
the track, including cars located in the pits during practice. <Shift+V>
moves to the next car "down" the track. It's a great way to quickly jump
between cars during a replay as you watch cars in a bunch dice for position!
"C" changes Cameras (i.e views). <Shift+C> walks you backwards through the
cameras.
Go to C:\SIERRA\gpl\players\[your player name here]\player.ini .
Open player.ini with Notepad or some such, and look under [ Personal
Information ] for driving view = 1
Change the "1" to a "12" and you'll be in roll-bar view. Without (gulp)
mirrors. Definitely frowned upon in online racing . . .
