Hi,
New to this group - so no flames please.
I have a couple of questions:
First, screamer rally.
I have trouble with Screamer Rally, in that it can lock up
every so often (really annoying on that last race of a championship).
It just hangs there with the CD playing - the only option is to
press reset.
The machine is a bit old (P90, 48MRam, S3 Virge and
Righteous 3Dfx, SB16), and an upgrade is planned, but is this a
recognised problem?
I'm running the game from MSDOS mode from a boot disk
as described in the SR manual, using a TM Sprint wheel.
Second Grand Prix 2:
I have found the TM Sprint wheel very good (as long
as you don't play without shoes on.) It's certainly a better
device that the alternatives at the same price.
The only glitch is that the F1 style paddles seem to be
difficult to set up for grand prix 2, as they arent buttons,
but part of the joysticks axis and GP2 does not seem
set up to accept this style of control. Is there a way
around the trouble?
many thanks,
Steve
