gpl in sli mode

just got a 8 meg m3d2 to go with the other i have.Now everytime i try gpl with SLI enabled my computer crashes! this happens with halflife too so im assuming it is affecting all 3dfx games. When i disable SLI all is fine again. Ihave tried all the drivers except the 2.05 version which i know has problem with gpl. Anyone had this problem are know of a soluition? What am i doing wrong? neil canning

Have you tried the new card by itself, just in case it's bad? Randy

as a mater of fact i have and it works fine im really stumped here. i also have tried both sli ribbons. like i said im stumped after the crash i did notice that the cards were overclocked to 95 hz reset to 90 but still the same thing still stumped neil canning

Ummmmm, you are. I'm running GPL in SLI mode with 2 8meg Diamond Monster II's. It works fine for me, but I had to reinstall the diamond monster drivers after installing the game. It somehow wiped out my drivers, they're really touchy in SLI mode Hope this helps Yoyo
