Hey folks! I installed NFS3 on me girlfriends comp, but its got a few problems...
Seems that when ya end a race, it just locks up...the menu will say 'nfs loading',
which then requires a complete reboot, and once rebooted, the comp is in 640x480 mode.
It races just fine and all, looks wonderful, just this one problem...
Have Dirextx5 installed, all updated drivers for cdrom, sound card etc..
Her comp is a P233, with an ati all in wonder pro card, rage pro I believe...
any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

No, probably not, cause you stole the game and
installed the WAREZ version of it!
Assumptions assumptions. Ya freakin doink. I bought the game right off the shelf and had
the same problem, and there ain't squat in the manual or on their web site on how to fix it,
so give it a rest and contribute rather than flame. Surely you've got something better to
do. (vent, vent) : )
Anyhoo, I had to enable bus mastering on my video card before the game would stop freezing
after a single race, even with Direct X 6 installed. It sucked up another IRQ, but solved
the problem. Could be a solution unique to my setup, but I hope it helps the original
poster. LOL.
