Jason's GPL Set-ups

1 post by 1 person · 03 Jan 1999 - 03 Jan 1999

"Jason's GPL Set-ups" available at [link lost in import] are terrific, IMO. These are the only ones I have tried so far that require no tweaking whatsoever to feel comfortable and fast for me. They are for the Ferrari, Eagle and Murasama, which is also a big bonus for those of us who are not Lotus-obsessed. Lastly, a tip for newbies: if you are using other people's set-ups, remember to reset the steering ratio to your preferred setting before trying the set-up. Don't let a dramatically or even a little different steering response throw you off what might otherwise be a good set-up for you. Setting your own steering ratio will have no effect on the substance of the rest of the set-up and also allows for better comparisons amongst set-ups.
