After playing gpl for a few weeks with no problems, except the low
framerate, I got a 3dcard diamond monster 3d voodoo. Now I got the
message when I reinstalled gpl something about active movie to be
deleted and then run setup again. There is no file that is called active
movie, but a file called rundll32.exe. I deleted the file but no
improvement.
Gpl doesn't even start anymore. Nothing happens. Only after ctr+alt+del
a window comes up with gpl doesn't react and I have to close it.
Is any body familiar with this problem ? any help would be very
appriciated, the game is great to play.
My system is PII 350, 128 Mb sdram diamond stealth II G460 and windws
98.
Thanks Alex.

I would recommend utting rundll32.exe back into your Windows directory.
This is an integral part of your Windows OS. When you say you
re-installed GPL, did you first "un-install" it?
I would just ignore any alterations the GPL setup wishes to do about
Active Movie. Especially if it trys to install an older version. As
far as I know this only applies to the AVI files tied with GPL and have
nothing to do with GPL working or not.
Try installing the reference drivers for your Voodoo card from
http://www.3dfx.com/download/download.html
Then uninstall GPL and try installing again.
