What is the cheat to open all Powerslider tracks? I don't like it when racing games hide tracks, because I don't like racing some of the first ones (in particular Devil's Bend seems flawed - in a couple places the road looks like it's turning one way then it goes another). Joe
>What is the cheat to open all Powerslider tracks? There isn't a cheat. You have to win successive championships to unlock the tracks. The game is called Powerslide, BTW. Well la-dee-dah..When did the world start revolving around your likes and dislikes? I don't like having to buy lottery tickets in order to win the huge jackpot, does that mean I should just get the prize? I can race Devil's Bend just fine. I think it's probably YOU who is flawed. Why can't you race the track a few times and memorize it? That's what other people do...are you capable of seeing a corner and thinking "Oh yeah, that's the one that looks like it goes left, but actually cuts a hard right into the tunnel...." I remembered that the second time I went into the corner. This is a clear indication of the growing trend towards people thinking they are entitled to something without working for it. Don't be a lazy, spoiled whiner, Joe. You are complaining about having to do something voluntarily... If you don't like the game, don't play it. If you do like it, why are you having a tantrum over having to play it? sheesh ~dx ---== http://www.newsfeeds.com - Largest Usenet Server In The World! ==--- ---== http://www.newsfeeds.com - Largest Usenet Server In The World! ==---

>Well la-dee-dah..When did the world start revolving around your likes and >dislikes? Did you have to go to a special course to learn how to be an ***, or did it come naturally to you? I guess it came naturally. Wow, and you do psychoanalysis over the net based on one message without even meeting someone. Do you have any other mystical powers we should know about? Joe
I'm sorry. I had just gotten called in to work on my day off and for whatever reason I decided to take it out on you and your message. Sorry 'bout that.

Um, no. Did he pay money for the game? If you are not good enough to unlock the tracks, then you paid $40-50 for 3 or 4 tracks. That SUCKS. I personally hate locked tracks. Sims don't have locked tracks. Why should Arcade style racers? Also there is nothing more irritating than to Format your HD, and have to race all the championships over again. Just to get all the tracks you already had unlocked.

Chill out Daxe, Joe simply asked a question regarding a game he has. Joe is entitled to enjoy Poweslide any way he likes without getting an ear bashing from you. Did you get out of bed the wrong way or something? <G> Sorry i can't help you Joe, but eventually someone will come up with the cheat codes to enable the extra tracks. You could try dropping the game designers an email stating your reasons why you would like to get to the other tracks, you never know, they might take pity on you and let you know the codes. Hope you sort it out ok.... Cheers, Ron > >What is the cheat to open all Powerslider tracks? > There isn't a cheat. You have to win successive championships to unlock the

Anyway, I managed to beat the first too tournaments (just barely on the second one!) so I now have access to most tracks. Joe

Ok here is what I have found so far, but, GT's web site states that there are 13 cheats. suck ? light tubo speed apollo fly around like a lunar lander glider will fly uncontrolled when you hit a bump hover drive around a couple of feet off the ground warp slows down all opponents burn some sort of fire or plasma weapon blast ? jump jumps several feet up If you look around the tracks you will see these cheats posted on a sign with yellow hash marks at the top and bottom of the sign along with an icon for that cheat. When you toggle the cheat you will see the icon in the top right of you screen while driving. Enjoy Craig

I posted a bunch of these a few weeks ago. With this list there is a total of 13 of them: BURN - shoots a fireball, presumably for multiplayer "fox & hound" game APOLLO - fly straight up as far as you can go ICBM - ultra speed forward WARP - slows opponents LIGHT - distorts view, things zoom away as you speed up BOMB - shoots a bomb out of the car, also presumably for multiplayer. SPIDER - can climb walls, etc. JUMP - jump a few feet in the air STICKY - ? GLIDER - another flying cheat SUCK - ? BLAST - ? HOVER - hovercraft ~daxe "religion is remedial spirituality" ---== http://www.newsfeeds.com - Largest Usenet Server In The World! ==--- ---== http://www.newsfeeds.com - Largest Usenet Server In The World! ==---
