Hiya,
Anyone else using the Wingman FF and seeing strange behavior online?
I just got this wheel, and I think it's great to drive -- the feel and
response are excellent in GPL. However, when racing online(offline is
fine), I'm getting somewhat slight, but unacceptable, chop in the
video. I haven't yet had the time to sit and figure it out, just
wanted to check if anyone else has seen this, since I'm 99% sure that
the new wheel(and GPL, of course) is the cause. Whether USB or
serial, same results. Old wheel, fine online and off.
Incidentally, does anyone have experience with the non-FF Wingman
wheel? If I can keep the performance that I have with this wheel, and
drop the serial/USB for a game port, I'll do it. Force is simply not
a priority for me right now, though I do like this wheel for its
performance.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Brett
After some more thorough testing, I've concluded that my problem is
definitely *not* the Logitech wheel or their software. Relief, I
really like this wheel, and did not want to give it up.
Also, to all on VROC whose practices I'm jumping in and out of without
word, I apologize and I don't mean to be rude, but please bear with me
while I get this worked out.
Brett
