I recently picked up this game, (yes, I know it's not a sim!), and have had
problems with the FMV in career mode. The game takes a long time for the
FMV to start, if at all. For instance, I can qualify, but when I go to
race, the screen freezes, and I have to reboot. Exhibition mode works fine,
since there's no FMV. I noticed that there was a choice of not installing
the FMV's. Would that help? I have the most recent drivers for my Rage Pro
Turbo, and it did it with both my old ISA soundcard, as well as my MX-300.
I'm using a Logitech Formula Force USB.
BTW, are there any patches? I can't find any on the EA site. I purposely
bought a copy in the original packaging, not the "classics" series, so I
would get a jewel case with a booklet.
Also, will Andretti work with the Rage Pro Turbo for 3D acceleration? It
doesn't recognize it.
Thanks
