Where can I find Ferrari setups for GPL. I have no talent nor the patience to
create them myself. Thank you for your help.
John Boles
John,
I've been using beta tester and advisor/consultant Doug Arnao's setups
that I got from Alison Hine's Eagle Woman racing site:
http://nh.ultranet.com/~alison/gpl/files/doug_setups.zip
I've spent perhaps a hundred hours driving with these and have
recently gotten somewhat respectable with them. I made some camber
adjustments to some to even the tire temps due to my driving style but
have just tried to learn how to drive. Only recently have I started
to mess with them as I try to come to grips with the AI at the pro
level.
Learn to be smooth and you can turn good times at almost any venue.
Good Luck,
Jeff
Go with Doug Arnao's setups from Alison's site. I've been using them for
all my Ferrari driving, although I have tweaked them a bit to suit me
more. Using them I've taken the Ferrari to 1m48's in Mexico, 1m05's at
Watkins, 3m20's at Spa and an 8m15 at the Nurburgring :-)
Cheers!
