The auto-manual option is on the car config screen. Above the car color if I remember right.

I just picked up NFS 3 and I can't get my T2 to shift up or down. Steering is fine as is gas and brake. I have many driving sims and games but never had this problem. I can't find a auto or manual shift setting anywhere in the config section.
Can anyone help?

It is also not completely obvious how to get into the car congif screen. On
the screen where you pick the car and the location and the opponents and
stuff, clickon the label that says "player car' (or whatever it is.) There
is all sorts of stuff in there to play with. Even a 360 degree QT thing
ofthe inside ofsome of the cars.

I got the manual shift working now but I'm having a problem with the
shifter.
The A/B buttons shift the car and the shifter works the view and the
emergency brakes. The wheel is configured correctly. It works all my other
SIMMs so
it's not that. I tried to change the settings in the NFS3 controller config.
but was unable to.
