Anyone have any good suggestions for a moderately priced modem that will
allow online racing, and preferably be compatible with a Thriller video
card? My Thriller is in the garage right now due to it not being liked by my
modem - a U.S. Robotics 56k Winmodem voice, which, I am assured by the folks
at Hercules, will never work with my Thriller. I don't know anything about
modems, Jim at hercules says there are hardware modems and software modems,
and mine is a software modem. Will any modem other than a Winmodem work? I
really am starting to miss 36fps in GPL.......TIA, Ed
