Boy! I thought I was quite good. Won my second intermediate championship,
only lost some point in Indonesia (mainly due to choppy framerate in the
woods...). So I thought: let's try Expert. Blimey! Never seen the wrong side
of the road this much in my two previous championships as in New Zealand
alone! I thought the Expert mode only gave you tought (faster) competition
and all the cars. But the cars handles much more difficult! What I had to do
at a '5' corner I now have to do at a '3' corner. If you know what I mean.
I'm slip sliding away. And*** heavily on the wheel to avoid a tree
usually makes me turn around (and hit another tree). Just made it fifth in
18:11:07.
Anyway, I think this is great. It's not a game you can win easily. You
really have to do something! It's by far the best rally game available. And
the great thing is: it feels real. And you feel you can do it better: it is
possible to control the car. In a game like IRC you're always slip sliding
all over the pace: that's the way the cars are modelled. Not so In Colin
etc. Man, I just love this game.
Back to Greece!
