Hi, I've just installed my new Thriller 8mg card and it's great for GPL on
my system...pll/233, 64m, gives me 36 fps alone and lows of about 25-28 when
racing w/most graphic options on, and the game looks and feels great but,
when I got done racing and tried to get online I got a message that said"
could not detect modem, it may be in use, turned off, or not installed
properly".....which was odd, cause it worked fine right before i swapped my
old card for the Thriller.When I reset the display adapter type back to
Standard vga, I got my modem back.....took me 2 days to figure this out.
When I first had this problem, Hercules advised Uninstalling modem and
Thriller, and reinstalling card first, then modem....this did not work.
Anyone know of a setting or something that I'm missing here?I wanna race and
surf......Help?
