Nascar 2 Problem

I am running P 200 mhz 128 ram diamond stealth with a VooDoo 2 12 meg. Everything running great. Problem is my brother inlaw got the sim and we wanted to hook up over the modem. WHen I go into multi-player and setup it wont let me choose any other com port other than com1 I am on com 2. So it wont initialize or recognize my modem. MY brother inlaws gives him the option to choose which com port. I did a new install and it didnt make any difference. I run win 95. Anybody help out with this? Thnks

I'll lay odds that your modem is a plug-n-play modem. If you run a win95 program, it works fine, right? Since N2 runs thru DOS, the modem isn't recognized. You have to find a way to use it in dos. I have a friend who has the EXACT same problem, and I was about to post a message. Contact the manufacturer, who should be able to help you. Anybody know how to set a Boca modem...? :) Boca hasn't answered any messages to their tech support... Eldred
