Just wondering if Sierra delivered on their promises of double file
restarts and real pit rules in N1999. I'm considering buying it and I
I don't check this group that often. Thanks.
It has double file restarts.....not sure what you mean about real pit rules?

By real pit rules (sorry, forgot to explain it), I meant being able to pick
your own pit.

That was never announced as a new feature for NR99. It is not included,
since the game engine limits your pitstall to the first one.
It's not big deal, still ;)
p.s.: You will find realistic pitstall with the upcoming revolutionnary
racing simulator called Nascar Racing 3, from Papyrus near the second
quarter of 99 officially ;-)

It also permits cars on the lead lap to pit first, then lapped cars to pit
later.

Mark, the double file restarts work great. When they give 1 to go,
the lapped cars move up to the front, on the inside. It really
changes the pitting strategy :)
