N99 and the TM GP1....Again !

2 posts by 2 people · 28 Nov 1998 - 23 Dec 1998

I just got back from Dallas where I bought N99 at CompUSA. N99 3dfx graphics are definitely brighter and crisper and the sound is better.....However, I cannot get the Windows 95 3dfx "native" version to work with my TM GP1. Gas and Brake work fine but the steering doesn't work right. I recalibrated in the W95 control panel then I got it working in the DOS mode then I tried driving and the steering is backwards even though I redid everything in the N99 Controls option windows ! I tried both the Papyrus and DirectX drivers ! DOS works great but It's driving me crazy that the W95 "native" version won't work! Any help would be appreciated ! Tim A. Deatherage "Admitted Sim ***"

Just an observance... It's getting hard to tell if folks are talking about Nascar Racing 1999, or Nascar '99 by EASports... Can we be more specific? Thanks :) -Larry > I just got back from Dallas where I bought N99 at CompUSA.
