I don't own any titles listed on the N99 rebate sticker, and I don't have N2.
Is there any way I can still get a rebate? If not, is N99 worth the $49.99, or
should I just wait and see if I can run N3 on my current system?
Thanks for any help.

If you don't have N2, N99 should be WELL worth your money. Unless
you're REALLY patient (and a gambler) and you want to wait for N2000 (or N3,
or whatever)...
You could also BUY a qualifying game (most likely for less than $50) and
use that....

Gary,
the rebate is for the purchase price you paid for N21999. Less tax.

if you want to get the rebate go to a second hand pc software store and buy
anything on the rebate list for a few bucks. a second option would be to buy n2 for
$20 and download the gazillion cars, trucks and tracks available on the net. you
could just buy n99, or wait six months and get nascar 2000 which will kick butt.

then Nascar 99 is well worth the $49.95.
My advice is to do what I did. I went down
to the local COMPUSA and bought EA
Sports NBA Live 96 out of the bargain
rack for $10. I called Sierra and they said
that this program would qualify for the full
$49.00 rebate!
Not bad, $10 for Nascar 99 after Rebate!
Hope this helps you out.

Go J.G. #24 in 1999!!!
Hey Don,
Is the rebate for N99 for the purchase price of N99, or for the purchase price
of the game sent in, or for the full retail price of the game sent in?
Thanks for any info,

Go to the Bargain Bin of a local store and spend $10 on Links or one of the other
titles. I'd pay $10 for a copy of N99.
After Christmas, Software Etc lets you return software and get credit for what they
list the software. I bought Battle Bugs in a Bargain Bin for $15, then took it to Software
Etc where they listed it for $49. I exchanged it for X-COM.
