Do I just copy the whole track file from N2 into my NR99 tracks directory and
then edit my .cal files to reflect the new track to get it to work in NR99?

Yuppers. Make sure you don't have more than 40 races in your season. I
wanted to squeeze every track I had into a calendar, didn't work.
