GPL and Voodoo 2 in SLI mode

Gents, I am wondering whether or not a game like GPL wouldbenefit frame rate wise from my adding a second 12 Meg Voodoo 2? I found a steal of a deal but if it won't help it is probably isn;t worth it. I have a K6-2 350 and 128 Megs pc100 and GPL runs 25 to 36 FPS at Monza, Race with 7 AI beasties running around with me. Any thoughts on this? Bob

While I agree that the AI and other things in GPL use up a lot of processor time, wouldn't it make sense that you could at least go up in screen resolution? I mean ... I run with a P233 and an 8meg Voodoo 2. I have several graphic options turned off, and race with 12 AI cars. With this setup, I get about 20fps at the start, and hover around 30fps during the race. I'm using 640x480. If I add another 8meg V2, I would hope that I could up the screen resolution dramatically -- without losing my framerate. If I could run GPL at 1024x768, I'd consider that to be a huge improvement; even if I couldn't add more AI or screen detail. Is THIS assumption correct? thx, EugOre

I don't know if a 350mz processor will handle 2 V2s to the point where you see a benefit. I can say I am running in 1024, every option on, 19 AI drivers and I have yet to see the FPS below 35.xx, start or otherwise. P2 504mz (o/c'd 450, 4.5x112mz) 128 megs ram 2 - 12meg CL V2s. 8meg G200

I'm running on a K6-250 (200 o/c'ed to 250, 83mhz bus) with a voodoo I and would like to be able to compare the values you gave to my setup.
