NASCAR 1999 Observations

After a few more days of playing nr1999 i've noticed a few things. * - in 3dfx mode the background seems to flash in replays (havent noticed it when im driving) * - when you distroy the entire back of the trucks (no wheels or anything) you can still drive... even smoke comes off non-existant wheels * - All the trucks look like dodge's and all the nascars look like monte carlos. The chassis are named chassis1 chassis 2 chassis 3.. not ford chev pontiac. Paintkit is missing the lisenced graphics from it. Doesnt really matter, all these are easy to change. the cars and tracks still have their lisencing * - The new tracks are really fun * - menu graphics have changed and the race/championship/options/multiplayer/exit text is on the right hand side of the main menu now instead of the left (oooer) :) * - Even tho its still basically NASCAR2, its alot more fun. The trucks look awesome from behind.. very low, fuel cells hang down real low. * - trucks rev about 1000rpm higher than the cars * - car and truck***pit are real good * - you have a joystick driver selection. Allthough in windows i can only select directx and dos i can only select generic * - 3dfx mode is far better than the one in nascar2. But still is lacking the rich colors that the rendition version has... rendition version has far better colors, but things in the distance look a bit pixley. 3dfx version has anti-aliasing If there is anythign else you want to know, just post it and i'll tell you

I can't beleive this moron is complaining about a pirated copy of Nascar99....get a life

Complaining? I certainly didn't read it as complaining. Pretty much matched the subject of his post.... "observations". Some were positives...some were negatives. Thats the kind of insight we need. If he has done something wrong in obtaining a pirated copy that's a different matter. Regardless, from other things I've read about N99 his observations are about right on target except I also believe double file restarts are now available also. Andrew B. Get your hand off your shaft. First of all, its a hotmail account, they could do as much with that as they could with a bannana. Seccond, even if u did give them my pop account, why would a coporate company like that bother with 1 claim? Third, who ever said anything about piracy?
