MSFF Help

Just bought the MSFF wheel. However, I have a Thrustmaster dual game card and although the wheel will work on one of the ports, the FF will not. I understand that the wheel works through the sound card, should I presume this was disabled when the duel card was fitted as the wheel will not work in any other port? If this is the case, how do I get the FF to work? Any help appreciated

It uses the Midiport for FF, so a dedicated game card will not support the FF effects. The game ports on new soundcards are so good, that you don't really need the game card. You cannot use the MSFFW on the ACM Game Card. The MSFFW must be used on a sound card. Why? Because Microsoft, instead of using USB or a serial port, uses the MIDI signal lines in Sound Cards's Game Adapter Port to send the force-feedback signals to the wheel... I don't like it either :( -Larry
