After having order a New Abit BH6 with a PII400 last week I was so e***d. WOW what a nightmare this has been. Order last Thrusday paid for next day air, did not get it till Monday. Took everything out slipped in the new system, everything looking great boot it up nothing try everything I can think of still want see my hard drive. Call Tech support at A2Z computers, not help at all said "looks like your boards bad" send that one back when we get it will send another one. So, I called a manager, and told him I did not want to wait till that one was sent back then they send me another one, I told him I would even pay for next day shipping again he said ok he would go ahead and ship it. And he did but he charged me another 100.0o bucks for it. Plug eveything up again fire it up nothing want even go to the cmos screen. Finally give up and take it to a computer shop , the guy is kind enough to let me use a ASUS bx board to see whats going on. hook up everything again nothing, take out the PII400 put in one he had BOOM,boots right up. Take all his stuff out go home call A2Z back tell them I am sending everything back for a refund. THEY tell me now it will be 2 weeks before I get my money back. These are the worst people I have ever delt with DO NOT ever use A2Z Computer to order parts. IF and when I do can someone tell me a good place to order stuff from. What a big let down I just was so e***d I wanted to see gpl so bad on the new system . Also, order the SB live , even now back on the old p200mmx, gpl is a whole new game with the SB. The sound is amazing, I just thought before the car screamed. Has to be heard. Sorry for the long post. Just a warning if your thinking about upgrading MJ

Thanks I'll check them out. I just upgraded just for GPL. Bought a Celeron 300A with Abit BH6 motherboard, which I have since overclocked to 450 (It was incredibly easy). I let a shop install the motherboard and Celeron and a new harddrive I bought, and I transferred all of my other stuff over myself (CD-ROM drive, soundcard, etc.) It was definitely worth the upgrade too. Oh yeah, I added a Voodoo 2 card too. My old system was an AMD K6-200. Altogether, GPL is a completely different game on the new system.. Well worth the upgrade. Oh yeah, to answer your real question. I bought the CPU, Motherboard and 128Megs SDRAM from www.minotaur.com. Although the CPU was back ordered, everything shipped as soon as they got them in. I was very pleased with their service. Check em out. IF and when I do can someone tell me a good place to order stuff from.

If you don't mind Pentium II's, check out the Asus P2B (various flavors available). By far the best motherboard I've ever seen or used. -Larry

Yeah, I had a very bad experience with A2Z. Ordered a modem, which didn't work, and a cheap video card (for the shop computer) and they sent the wrong one. THey charged for Federal Express, but shipped UPS ground Called them on the modem, and they offered me a 56k US Robotics for $75.00 (this was 1 1/2 years ago). I called US Robotics to double check, and they said 'to good to be true'. When I called the guy at A2Z back, then they tried to charge 149.95 for the modem that he had just said was $75.00. WHen they found out I called US Robotics they got pretty upset, so much so the guy started swearing on the phone. When I just wanted to get my money back, then they said they could only offer me partial credit because the 'industry price had dropped' on what I originally ordered. Finally ended up going to VISA and charging back my order to them. All in all, it took 6 months to clear up. Stay away from them. Dennis

How did you contact them? There is a local computer store called A to Z that I was thinking of checking for parts, and was wondering if it was the same... Thanks, Keith
