I am currently using a MS sidewinder precision pro, I use the stick
twist feature to steer with. I would like to purchase a set of pedals
and the CH pedals look like what I am after as I also do flight sims.
Has/does anyone use this controller setup? If so, any advice?

I don't have MS Sidewinder so cannot comment on that. However I have
CH Pro pedals and would recommend them over the CH Pedals. The Pro
version has two modes of operation, one for car simms and one for
flight simms. I believe the non-Pro version lacks the car mode.
Also check that the car sim you are using supports separate axis for
gas and break as some games don't. I have F1RS and it works great
with these pedals.

I have both Sidewinder and CH Pedals. The Sidewinder takes up 4 axis with
Left Right, Up Down, Twist and Throttle, leaving no axis for the pedals.
