I saw G. Hill raise his arm and pull over in front of me at the Ring during
practice.

I wonder if anyone has seen AI drivers raise their arm to let the others
know they have a technical problem. This would be very useful at racestarts.
Gday,
I had Bandini put his arm up just as I was passing him. He pulled off the
racing line and took me out :)

During a monaco race, I crashed with an other car during the start.
The other car caught fire and the driver raised his arm. I first thought
he was angry with me, but when i read the manual it said that drivers raise
their hands when they are in trouble.

Not sure about problems, but I have seen the AI drivers raise their arms
when they go in the pits.

It's not to show a technical problem, but the other day I hit Jo Bonnier
in a race at Monza. His car spun into a fence and he raised his arm. The
funny thing is that he kept his arm up as he rolled 8 times down the
track, punching the ground each time he went over.......

Could you guys please take a look at your gpl_ai.ini file (it is located in
the gpl directory). Please surch for the following line:
signal_induced_problems = 0.000000 ; have drivers raise hand if have
induced problem/error (0.0 = no, 1.0 = yes)
Does the value in your (US-copy) version read 0.000000 as well? I have (now)
changed it to 1.000000. Maybe now I'll see it.
How do you think about those drivers who stall their engines at the start,
I'm sure in real-life races they would have raised their arms as well.
Thank you for your efforts. May the grip be with you.

I thought Graham was shaking his***at me after I passed him on the
outside of Parabolica (a hair-raising feat, I might add - something about
being so close to that gravel trap), but no, he was headed to the pits.
Funny, these men.
