CMRally - Menu goes bananas!

Hi! Finally I got CMR working on my P2 by swapping CD-drives with my old puter (what you do to get some games working ;^), but there you go, Codemasters really give it to me. Now the menus go crazy taking little spikes from my wheel as menu inputs. Does anybody have the same problem, and is there a way to stop it? Codemasters is really making a great impression with this "piece of art"! Deselect 'poll with interupts enabled' in the joystick control panel. Its in the advanced tab. Dean
