If you havent tried this youre cheating yourself some serious muscle car fun. Run a few laps at bristol in this then NR2003 and come back and tell me how great NR2003 is again. Mitch

Hehe. Seriously though, try it. Its about as fun as Ive had since the GPL demo. Not much beats throwin a hemi cuda around for awhile :-) The sound is awesome to. The problem I have is everyone is so quick to bash anything that isnt Papy (right now Papy sucks) and we get a bunch of "Experts" that havent even tried it yet spewing nonsense about how bad it is. I dare ya to try it and come back here and say it's as bad as all that. Take Bristol for a spin in a 73 Firechicken, I dare ya :-) Don't let the MCO name throw ya. Nothing related to the original MCO except body styles. It's much more of a early 70's sim. In fact I owned a 73 Roadrunner (440magnum) and Ill be damned if it doesnt drive the same. The brakes of lack of are something that needs some work though along with some high res models :-) Mitch "ZZ" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:HwLZb.60740

I don't think you can really compare them can ya? I mean is this MCO mod a Nascar simulator? I am downloading it now and I respect your opinion so I am sure it will be fun, but if it isn't a Nascar simulator it is hard to compare it to NR2003. Shock

At first glance you would think that wouldnt ya. Its hard to explain but try it and get back to me. Its not a NASCAR sim but the cars feel VERY NASCARish :) Try Bristol first it blew me away. This is the first sim Ive run that I can REALLY tell what the suspension is doing. In case youre not aware F1RST includes a auto-track download so if you dont have Bristol just log into F1RST and host that particular track and it will download. Ok, will do. The download just finished I am going to install and give it a rip. I can't get the Bristol track to be recognized by the MCO mod. It is in the circuits list whenever I load F1C. I copied the bristol folder from the SeasonData\Circuits directory to the mcoSeason\Circuits directory, but it still isn't showing when I load the mod. Just figured out the track won't load in F1C either. When I click the check mark to go forward after I have selected Bristol the screen says "Default" and the game closes. So now Bristol isn't even present in the MCO mod and it won't load at all in F1C. Something tell me this has something to do with the location I installed F1C. It is installed on my E: drive rather than the default directory... edit the Filter Properties line in the bristol.gdb so it sees MCO: Filter Properties = 2002 MCO "Shock" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > I can't get the Bristol track to be recognized by the MCO mod. It is inthe

Thanks, now it is recognized in MCO, but whenever I try to load it I get the same problem I get when I try to load the track using regular F1C. The word default flashes on the screen and then the game closes. Shock "Charlie B" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:NtPZb.2926$[email hidden]...

I didnt have to edit the .gdb but I did have to edit the .scn to adjust mirrors. Try this if you havent fixed it yet. Delete the bristol folder and host/join on F1RST to auto d/l the new one. Hehe... don't know how realistic these MCO cars are, but they're good fun for sure =) Real fps killer on my PC though. Anything over 10 cars in the grid and it's quite impossible to drive. The other mods seem to run much better (on the same tracks and graphics settings)... but I can live with 8 (muscle) car grids :) How can I turn off the automatic throttle lift & blip? Setting them to zero in the .plr file doesn't seem to work. And is there a way to boost the AI speed over the 120% setting? Increasing the AI grip stuff in the .plr file helps a little, but they're still awfully slow through the corners.
