What sound file does GPL use ?. I change the weslake sound in sound.dat file (using unpack pack software) but in the sim the sound did not change. After that I deleted sound.dat file and started GPL and sounds still worked !! Does it use sound file from CD ? I have full install. -Jani Polameri-

Hi Jani, Some of the sound files have been doubled up to be used in more than one car. Following is the Car & Sound files used: Ferrari uses the Ferrari.wav Lotus uses the Cosworth.wav Murasama uses the Repco.wav Brabham uses the Repco.wav Brm uses the Brmh16.wav Coventry uses the Weslake.wav Eagle uses the Cosworth.wav Trainers use the F2F3.wav Hope that helps you..... Cheers, Ron ..
Was this just to throw people (i.e., hackers) off or did you make an error? Marc.

No Marc, i did not make an error..... It threw me for a while as well, untill i unpacked and resampled all the engine sounds and matched them up to their respective cars! Cheers, Ron
